NZ’s Rural Telethon, “Meat the Need” Lincoln University will be hosting this live on campus. This Thursday 15th Dec. The Meat the Need charity takes donated livestock from farmers and processes it into premium mince, which is then donated to food banks nationwide. Since it was founded in early 2020, the charity has supplied meat for more than 760,000 meals across the country. The charity began operating in parts of the South Island. Quickly it grew and, in 2021, Meat the Need was nationwide.
